Rice with Chinese Preserved Meat

Ingredients

General

Chinese preserved sausage and meat	150g (4 taels)
Dried Shrimp	2 tablespoons (soaked until soft)
Shallot	1 whole clove
Spring Onion	1 stalk (chopped)
Rice	2 cups
Water	Corresponding scale on the inner pot

Seasonings

Salt	⅛ teaspoon
Wine	¼ teaspoon
Light soya sauce	1 teaspoon
Pepper	A little

Method

Slice Chinese preserved sausage and meat thinly, soak dried shrimp, chop shallot, add seasonings and mix well.
Wash rice and drain, put rice in pot and add water, then put the cover and turn on gas.
When water has almost disappeared (about 4 minutes), put seasoned ingredients on top of rice, then covered and continue to cook.
After about 4 minutes, turn off the gas and keep rice covered for 15 minutes, then sprinkle with diced spring onion and serve.
