Korean Style Kimchi Pork Rice

Ingredients
General
Pork 200g
Rice 450g
Water 600ml
Black fungus 80g
Spinach 80g
Sprouts 80g
Shiitake mushrooms 80g
Sesame oil 1 tablespoon
Kimchi 50g
Egg 1pc
Sesame seeds 1 teaspoon
Korean chili sauce 2-3 tablespoons
Seaweed 4-5 slices, shredded
Seasonings (Pork)
Garlic 1 teaspoon, chopped
Sugar ½ teaspoon
Salt ½ teaspoon
Rice wine 1 teaspoon
White pepper powder 1 teaspoon
Method
  • Blanch the pork. Rinse in cold water for 15 minutes and drain.
  • Shred the pork; mix with garlic, sugar, salt, wine and pepper and leave to marinate for a while. Arrange all mixture on the cooking dish for Superbowl.
  • Add rice and water in the rice container of Superbowl and place the cooking dish in it. Cook over medium heat until the fire is automatically turned off.
  • Blanch the fungus, spinach, sprouts and shiitake mushrooms. Set aside.
  • Arrange the pork, ingredients of method (4), kimchi, egg on the rice, and then sprinkle with sesame seeds and sesame oil.
  • Just before serving, mix well with Korean chili sauce and seaweed.
